Grades and report cards

Gradebook and report cards for Ethiopian schools

Configure assessments and grading, collect teacher submissions, control changes, and publish clear report cards and transcripts from one academic record.

01

Define the academic model first

Timor’s gradebook starts with the school’s academic years, periods, subjects, assessments and grading configuration. Results therefore follow a shared structure instead of each teacher inventing a separate spreadsheet.

School teams retain control over the setup while teachers work inside the classes and subjects assigned to them.

  • Academic years and periods
  • Subjects and teacher assignments
  • Assessment and grading configuration
  • Grade entry by assigned class

02

Review before records settle

Submission and lock workflows help school leaders distinguish work in progress from results that have been handed in or closed for changes. That reduces accidental edits after a reporting point.

Where a correction is needed, the school can handle it through an explicit operational workflow rather than losing track of which copy is current.

03

Publish from the same source

Report cards, student results and transcript views are produced from the structured academic record. Families and students see only their own records through role-scoped portals.

Because published outputs and staff workflows share the same source, the result viewed by a family is not a separately maintained document.
